16/05/21 -- Wembury villages and coastal delights

Meet at 10.00 am at Wembury Beach Car Park (map ref: SX 517 484) or at 9.15 am at Erme Court car park (no charge on Sundays) in Ivybridge (opposite The Watermark) for the car convoy. Please note that Wembury Beach is a National Trust car park and free to members - please bring your membership card (and if you have a spare please bring that for any non-members). The non-member parking fee is £6.
We will follow the Erme Plym trail through woodland, across farmland and between villages. We'll then cut across to Staddiscombe and then down to join the coast at Bovisand from where we'll follow the coast path back to Wembury. The walk is 7.5 miles with some steepish climbs and muddy sections after rain. There will be lovely views if the weather is kind. Please bring the usual refreshments for the coffee/tea and lunch stops and wear attire to suit the prevailing conditions.
