22/09/19 -- Coastal walk from East Prawle
For car sharing, meet at The Erme Court car park, Ivybridge (opposite the entrance to The Watermark) for a 9.00 am departure.
The walk will start at 10.00 am from outside the Pig's Nose pub/cafe/village green. Car parking on the road around the green - please park considerately.
We will walk from East Prawle to Gammon Head where we pick up the coast path and then on to Prawle Point for our coffee stop. Prawle is Devon's most southerly point and there is a lookout station and a small Visitor Centre, which should be open. From here we follow the coast path to Woodcombe Point where we leave the coast once again to return along bridleways and quiet country lanes to East Prawle. Refreshments available at the Pig's Nose pub in East Prawle.
