30/12/18 -- Bolberry Down & Bolt Tail (with a little Hope thrown in)

Deb is hoping that walkers will get to enjoy the views Malcolm intended for us back in November. The walk will head east briefly before cutting inland through farmland back towards Malborough. Then we will loop through the village of Galmpton before dropping back down to the Coast Path and into Hope Cove for sandy sandwiches on the beach. In time honoured tradition, we will follow lunch with a climb as we head out to Bolt Tail for (hopefully) some gorgeous views back to Thurlestone Arch and Burgh Island. From there it is coastal views all the way back to the cars.
Distance: Approximately 7 miles. Some mince pie busting climbs, stiles and lanes. Dogs, festive hats and left over chocolate all welcome.
Meeting point: Meet at 10.00 am in the National Trust car park at Bolberry Down (SX689 385). Parking is free for NT members who will need to scan their membership cards. Non-members will need to pay to park.
Car Share: Meet in The Watermark Car Park, Ivybridge for a 9.00 am departure.
Debrief: The Royal Oak, Malborough
Walk Leader: Deb
