04/11/18 -- Bolberry Down/Starehole Bay
This walk is an undulating journey along the spectacular coastal path between Bolberry Down and Starehole Bay. The route follows clifftops with several steepish ascents and descents with a mixture of grasslands, fields and lanes. The terrain may be muddy. Poles may be required. On the return journey the walk passes by an old wartime bunker with an airfield, then heads towards fields and an ancient lane back towards the car park. There are sheep on the coastal path.
The walk is approximately 7 miles and there will be coffee and lunch stops (please bring your own refreshments).
The Ocean Restaurant and Bar at Bolberry Down (previously known as the Port Light Hotel) will be open for those who want refreshment at the end of the walk.
